| All that currently stands on the site of League
Park is one building that used to serve as a ticket booth. There had
been a section of the right field grandstand, but this has been recently
removed. Also, the historical marker has been covered up. Apparently,
extensive renovations are in the works for this site, with the eventual outcome
to be a baseball park on the exact location of the original field. It
would be great to see this old building and the field restored. Plans have a vintage base ball team playing here starting in 2010, so hopefully the renovations will be complete by then.
