| While driving through South
Carolina in 1997, I decided to stop and see the ballpark in Columbia. I
probably shouldn't have wasted my time. The park was difficult to find,
and then once I did find it, it was completely locked up. So I couldn't
get inside to take any photos. From what I could see, this doesn't look
to be that special of a ballpark anyhow. It is certainly not a place I
will go out of my way to see a game at. As of 2005, professional baseball was no longer being played here as the SAL team moved to Greenville. It is unlikely that Columbia will see a professional team again until a new ballpark is built.
