Henley Field was used both for Spring Training and by the Florida State League before Joker Marchant Stadium was built. And in 2002, it got one more year of use as a professional venue when the Lakeland Tigers called Henley Field home while Joker Marchant was being renovated. This is a cute little ballpark that seems to have been well maintained over the years. Metal bleachers under the grandstand take away some of the charm as they obviously aren't part of the original ballpark. Currently, Henley Field still gets used by college and high school baseball. If you're in the area, this is a park definitely worth checking out.
