Stumpf Field was last home to professional baseball from 1958-61 when the Lancaster Red Roses of the Eastern League played here. Parts of the original grandstand still exist, though I didn't realize it when I stopped to take some photos. This is because the original Stumpf Field has been turned into a softball field, and a new baseball field was built where the outfield used to be. So the whole complex is now known as Stumpf Field.
