| This ballpark was used to host an Appalachian League team (the Marion Mets) from 1965-1976. Located on the grounds of the city high school, it is now used for youth sports. While the field is in decent shape, the same cannot be said of the grandstand. Many of the seats in the structure behind home plate are rotten and/or broken. And in the structure on the first base side, only the risers from a former bleacher section still remain. It is unfortunate to see that almost no upkeep is being done on this former minor league ballpark.
