| Siebert Field, the current home of the University of Minnesota baseball team, also hosted professional baseball for two years in the mid 1990's. The Minneapolis Loons called this park home in 1994 and 1995 as part of the North Central and Prarie Leagues. The park was probably sufficient for indy baseball in those days, but its location in downtown Minneapolis was probably a hindrance to the team drawing fans. It is unclear how much longer Siebert Field will be around as there are plans to build a new park for the university.
