Mirmow Field has mainly be used for amateur baseball over the years, but was also used for two years (1973-74) by the South Atlantic League. While the ballpark is not in the best shape now, it is odd that more pro ball wasn't played here as this park would have more than suitable up until the 1980's at least. The fully covered grandstand, made of concrete, has all wooden benches for seating. Certainly pro ball will never come back to this neighborhood ballpark, but it's nice to know that Mirmow Field will continue on hosting amateur baseball.
