| This monument celebrates the history of professional baseball in Troy, which was a member of the National League in the late 1800's. In addition, the monument lists all the players from Troy who have played in the Majors, and includes renderings of several hall of famers from this city, just outside of Albany. The monument is located in Knickerbacker Park, which is the site where the Troy Haymakers played. |
