The Tampa Yankees played at Red McEwen Field for two seasons (1994-95) before moving into Legends Field in 1996. Located on the campus of South Florida, McEwen Field was a very basic ballpark with three metal bleacher sections, suitable for college but not professional ball. As with many fields in the south, there were no baselines between home and first/third. Prior to the 2011 season, Red McEwen Field was torn down and a brand new ballpark was built in its place for use by the college team.
