Carl Lewton Stadium was last used for professional baseball in 1952 when the Carthage Cubs of the Kansas-Oklahoma-Missouri League played here. The ballpark features ax exterior made of stone (similar to QU Stadium in Quincy) and an uncovered grandstand. Unfortunately I was unable to get inside the park to take better photos. If anyone knows when Lewton Stadium was built, please drop me an email.
