Field of Legends (originally known as Community American Ballpark) is located in a sprawling suburban area of Kansas City, Kansas. When it was built, there is not much surrounding it, but since then there has been a lot of commercial development (stores, hotels, and restaurants). The ballpark follows the usual template with a concourse which overlooks the field and allows fans to circle it entirely. Because the ballpark is sunk well below ground level, the red brick exterior has a rather low profile. I haven't seen a game here (and was not able to get inside), so can't comment on the atmosphere or concessions. The T-Bones franchise moved from Duluth prior to the '03 season. This continues the unfortunate trend of the Northern League moving away from older parks and into more modern ones filled with "amenities".
