Plant City Stadium is another rather typical spring training stadium. Like many other spring training parks, it is located in a complex of practice fields. Like the original incarnation of Charlotte County Stadium, this park also features a large, ugly concrete facade in the front of the stadium. The largely uncovered seating area is made up of some box seats and some aluminum benches with backs. A concourse is situated under the seating area. A very bland park, with nothing unique to set it apart from other spring training facilities. After the Reds left in 1997, the city was unable to lure another team. So now it has been turned into a professional softball facility.
