| Goodyear Ballpark opened in 2009 with the arrival of the Cleveland Indians from Florida. They will be joined by the Cincinnati Reds starting in 2010. Currently the ballpark sits in a field by itself, but supposedly will be surrounded by commercial development in the years to come. I was not able to get inside on my visit, so can't comment much on the actual ballpark, except for the exterior. As can be expected, there are numerous palm trees which surround it, but there is also a tall baseball spire which was sculptured specifically for the ballpark. I'll be sure to get back for a game in the future.
