| I only got to see this park from the outside on a trip here in September of 2000. It was after the season was already over, so the park was locked up tight. Municipal Stadium is a WPA ballpark from the 40's, but surprisingly does not have a roof. The seats appear to be mostly just wooden benches. Despite this, it appears to be a comfortable enough place to see a game. The park is not that easily accessible as it is off of a couple very busy roads, and there are almost no signs to help direct visitors. Obviously I can't give the parks any grades as I was not able to see much of it. |
